For the last 54 years it's been our family tradition to take a trip out to Anza Borrego Desert State Park for Easter weekend. Many people find this surprising; they look at the desert as a vast wasteland. But if you take the time to stop and look closely, there's an abundance of life everywhere. It is a very harsh environment, but Nature finds a way of adding plenty of color to this canvas. From the palm trees to the smallest belly flower, it has its own beauty.
You're never too old for dyeing Easter eggs or an Easter egg hunt . I hope you all enjoy the weekend with your families and check back for my photos of the Anza trip coming up soon.
